Our tours are a great opportunity to share your passion with like-minded people and learn the art of great landscape photography from two award winning landscape pro's with over 30 years combined experience.

• Day 1 & 2 - West Coast & Glaciers
  
  

  Leaving behind our cares at Christchurch Airport we’ll head west into the wilds of New Zealand’s South Island. Our initial route will take us through the spectacular Arthur’s Pass and onto the West Coast.

  Visiting the West Coast we will explore the regions beautiful beaches, lakes, rivers and glaciers. There will be an optional guided heli tour of the Fox Glacier and a chance to photograph Mount Cook from the mirror reflections of Lake Matheson.

  Heading further south, we will visit the amazing rugged landscape of the log strewn beaches of Haast.

• Day 3 - Lake Wanaka
  
  

  If you haven’t seen photographs of the iconic Wanaka Tree, where have you been? We’ll be looking for new angles with this old favourite as well as shooting the surrounding snow-capped peaks of Mount Aspiring National Park.

  Wanaka is also a great place to rest and relax for a few hours before we make the journey south to Arrowtown.

• Day 4 - Arrowtown
  
  

  Staying in the historic Arrowtown is a pleasure at any time of the year, but in autumn the place comes alive with an amazing display of colour.

  The show is no more evident than in the landscape that surrounds Lake Hays. We will shoot the sunrise at the lakes edge which offers plenty of compositions along its shoreline.

• Day 5 - Mount Cook
  
  

  An adventure in to the heart of the South Island doesn’t get any better than exploring the area around Mount Cook and Lake Pukaki.

  The highlight of this trip is the walk up through the Hooker Valley to Hooker Lake. The footbridges and cascading Hooker River offer plenty for us to photograph on-route, with the walk culminating in breathtaking views over the lake to the majestic Mount Cook.

• Day 6 - Lake Tekapo & Home
  
  

  The Church of the Good Shepard with the spectacular backdrop of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains has to be high on the agenda for anyone visiting this region. Arriving at Lake Tekapo we will check in to our Lakeside accommodation then head out for sunset at the picturesque Church of the Good Shepherd. The vista of the tranquil lake with the surrounding hills never fails to spark the creative mind. After dinner we shall have the option to retire for the night or to return to the church to shoot the advancing Milky Way.

  The next day will be an early morning shoot at the lake, it can often be a chilly start to the day but the morning light is something not to be missed, and will be followed by a warming breakfast. After breakfast there will be time to explore the lake shore in front of our accommodation before heading back to Christchurch to make our farewells at the airport.
